As I’m sure you are aware, the situation regarding Coronavirus is becoming more serious by the day. I felt that this would be the appropriate time to update you on my policy and how I will be approaching this.
Unfortunately deposits remain Non-refundable. However, if due to either advice from HM Government or any other circumstance due to COVID-19, customers will be given priority and guaranteed on their new chosen date.
Currently my policy states that full-payment is required two months before the date of the event. Due to the current circumstances, I will now require payment one month before the event to compensate for the current uncertainty. However, if customers events are canceled after this revised one month payment deadline, then the above applies with the guarantee on the revised date and the price which was paid - in full - is also guaranteed.
Due to circumstances relating to border closures of Europe and travel advice, the supply of flowers is uncertain. While movement of goods is currently not restricted by travel bans, I am prioritising certain flower requests for funerals and weddings, however it is possible I may need to substitute some flowers or colours as appropriate.
Please advise of any flowers you wish NOT to be included should the circumstances arise. I am confident this will not be required and have been assured by my supplier that no disruption is likely, however in light of other measures I am taking, it would not hurt to make customers aware of this.
Owing to high demand of ingredients at the moment, I have purchased mine in bulk to cover all my orders over this period. Because of this I am unable to offer refunds to cake orders, however I can accept a postponement of the delivery date and the guarantee of reschedule date also applies here.
I pride myself on my hygiene and uphold a 5 star rating. I am fully insured and my work room undergoes a deep-clean before every order - flowers or cake - are executed. Due to this I am unable to hold face-to-face consultations, however I can give the same level of service either over the phone or via email. I am also available 9am to 9pm on the phone.
I hope everyone stays well and can understand as a small business why I have taken these measures. Thank you for you patience and support and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
